In Finnish, there are no prepositions at all... We have cases! I want to show how the name Arwen is related to Finnish...
There is a Finnish word ARPI which means a scar. I'm not sure about the names of the cases in English but here they are:
Finnish: arpi English: a scar
Singular / Plural
Nominative: arpi / arvet
Genitive: arven / arpien
Partitive: arpea / arpia
Essive: arpena / arpina
Translative: arveksi / arviksi
Inessive: arvessa / arvissa
Elative: arvesta / arvista
Illative: arpeen / arpiin
Adessive: arvella / arvilla
Ablative: arvelta / arvilta
Allative: arvelle / arville
Abessive: arvetta / arvitta
Komitative: (only plural) / arpineen
Instructive: (only plural) / arvin

But I could show how other Finnish words go... for example kissa (a cat) and hevonen (a horse). Would you like me to do that?
