An important announcement from the Manor!

Malfoy Manor has been attacked by some stupid spammers!!!! I was there today! There were two guests who just posted one post there. The first one was just a HP fan who hadn't registered but the other one was just advertising a site dedicated to Russian women! I'm glad I was there- I was in the right place at the right time!

If you go to the Manor, you can see that there's only the Important stuff section. There is no reason to worry, I have only closed the board for guests! Other places are open only for the members! So I haven't deleted anything! I just want to make the life of spammers as miserable as possible! ;D

Oooo... how annoying for you! But yeah, blocking guests from being able to post is a good idea, I've done that at Asylum 13 and some of my other boards as well Actually all of my boards are Members Only now, it saves on hassle, eesh...

I know what you mean... It's annoying when guests post without registering or when they post only to advertize their message boards.

I've had problems with that sort of thing at my Sailor Mercury Online board recently, a few of the members are just spamming their boards but not posting anywhere else... then they get all annoyed at me when I tell them off for it LOL eesh...
