Go Australia for loving swimming too! AND HAVING WONDERFUL SWIMMERS!!!! WOOO!!! And yalls national anthem sounds so cool. Don't know the words because I couldn't really read Ian Thorpe's lips during the Olympics but I like how it sounds and it shall soon be my ringtone for my cell phone. ;D *clears throat again* Ok that's all just had to tell you m'dear.

omg! I love Ian Thorpe! He's the one who started my erm *cough* slight obsession with swimming and Aussies when I was 10 and saw him swim in the 2000 Olympics. Of course back then I didn't have obsessions mount up and I didn't find details about people off the internet. And I was a bit young to look and see if randomn guys are hot--lol. But the 2003 World Championships rolled around, a year ago ironically, and the swimming thing mounted up again. And off course the Aussie team as a whole was so inspirational during 2000 everyone going Oy Oy Oy Aussie Aussie Aussie in the crowds while the swam made me go insane. haha. So you don't like swimming much Claire?

LOL! I used to like watching it, and I used to swim a bit myself when I was younger... but I don't know what happened, I find it boring now, LOL... I was like that with cricket though - went through a huge obsessive faze and now I find it boring as hell, and I think I'm starting to head that way with Auzzie Rules Football as well

lol wow thats strange. Well I dunno the picture being painted to me is that all Aussies are obsessed with swimming. Almost like th U.S. is insanely crazed over football (American), baseball, and basketball. Like most people know like swim times and stats that like people would think is abit too much but when you get ol Average Joe off the corner of the street here and he can tell you how many homeruns a baseball player has hit and MVP crap--tis the same. Ok I've realized now that when I talk about swimming I start to ramble. lol Oh speaking of I actaully heard the words form the Australian national anthemn. All I remember is it started withthe word Australia. Ok I'm shutting up now. *clicks post*

Oh ok my bad Claire it starts with Australians not Australia--it sounds the same when a children's choir is singing it . I hear that Aussies are real nice. When Michael Phelps went to Sydney for the 2000 Olympics when he was 15 people at his school asked him how was Australia and was it any different. He said yeah it's the same as it is here in the United States except all the people are nicer. Which I can't help but believe fully. Everywhere else cept here in the States people are nice and not rude and stuff...yeah. OO! All this talk of swimming and Ian Thorpe has caused a wonderful stir of ads at the top! Ian Thopre underwear! LOL! And Swimming videos! WOOO! Ok I'm all rambly and weird...I'm supposed to typing in keyboarding class but tis ok I'm typing so she "thinks" I'm working. ;D

LOL Well I don't know the specifics... but I can tell you that living right near the beach is not cheap by any means... I'm probably about 40-60 mins away from the nearest beaches, but the best ones are the secluded ones or the ones that take ages to get to (Kangaroo Island, for example)... But anyways... I'm happy where I am, in the suburbs, only a 5 minute drive away from the shopping centre, and only about a 30 minute drive away from the city

Sorry, I'm gonna get a little too personal with the questions here. But don't mind me asking, where abouts in South Australia do you live?? It's sounds like to me, that you are describing the same place that I live in . But then again, where I live, it's only takes round about 5 minutes to get to the beach.
